This was the first sighting of a Ferrari LaFerrari in Melbourne. The second was spotted just days later at the same location.
It's understood that this one is a Ferrari-owned show car used mostly for demonstration purposes. Mechanics in the Ferrari service department can also learn how to service one.
This one also performed a number of laps at the Clipsal 500 in March 2015.

The second LaFerrari to visit Melbourne was privately owned by a New Zealand businessman, Grant Baker. It was displayed at the 2015 Australian Grand Prix, as well as the Australian Motoring Festival at the Melbourne Showgrounds.
Incredibly, it was spotted cruising down Swan Street, Richmond, in late March.

The most recent LaFerrari to make an appearance in Melbourne was imported through Dutton Garage in Burnley.
It was purchased from Rome, Italy, for 1.5m Euros and imported as a race car to avoid the hefty LCT. It was the first LaFerrari to roll off the production line!
In early October 2015, it was listed for sale. Let's hope they can find a local buyer!

Taken in Maranello, this is a photo of Melbourne's first customer ordered LaFerrari.
Unfortunately, it will likely never come to Australia. Its owner keeps it in Europe where it can legally be driven. There are a few 918s, P1s, Enzos, etc. stored overseas yet owned by Melbourne residents as there is little point in importing them to Australia.

Believe it or not, we are lucky to have had three LaFerraris in Melbourne, with a couple more on the way! Used the tabs at left to browse through them.
